The Sheridan Urban
Systems Advisory Committee (SUSAC) has contracted HDR Engineering,
Inc. and WWC Engineering, Inc. to study the feasibility of a
north-south transportation corridor west of the City of
Sheridan.
This website was
created to provide the community of Sheridan with information
regarding this current study. We will continually update this
site as the study progresses, so be sure to check back often for the
most up-to-date information.
Public Open House.
The final open house for the Sheridan West
Corridor feasibility study was held on the evening of Wednesday,
August 16, 2006, at the Holiday Inn on Sugarland
Drive. The purpose of the meeting was to review the results of
the study and provide insight on "what's next" regarding this
project.

Phase 2 Comments.
Phase 2 Underway.
The study team was given the green light to proceed
with Phase 2 by the SUSAC on June 16, 2005. During Phase 2, the
study team will identify and evaluate corridor options and recommend
implementation phases for design and construction of a west corridor.

Phase 1 Complete.
The study team completed the Phase 1 evaluation
which identifies the benefits, purpose and need for a west corridor.
Based on the findings of Phase 1, it was the SUSAC Policy Committee's
decision to continue the study into Phase 2. For more

We asked and you told us!
425 residents of both the City and the County of Sheridan responded to
our surveys, and provided us
with comments about transportation in and around the City of
Sheridan. More than 200 Employee Surveys, 150 Community Surveys and 56
Open House comments were returned to us. The results of the surveys are now available on our
Survey Results page. Please check it out.
